Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5040

Welcome to 2009 and the virtual home of Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 5040. This website offers a glimpse of what our Post is about, what we do, and who we are. We are considered a medium sized Post made up of about 500 members, serving our veterans and the community in which we live in McHenry County, Illinois.

2009 marks 63 years since our Post was established on March 4, 1946, and six years since our virtual Post home was established on March 12, 2003. We meet on the third Monday of each month at 7:00 pm. The Ladies Auxiliary meet the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm.
